Author and Editor Bios:
Jeanette "Jenny" Feldman grew up in the South Bronx and attended The Cooper Union School of Art. Her work has been displayed in various galleries and settings in New York, New Jersey, and Texas. She died in December 2008 and is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Norman, two children, and four grandchildren.
Nadine Galinsky Feldman formed Gal in Sky Publishing Company after the stillbirth of her daughter, Reba Galinsky. Believing that the best way to overcome adversity is to help others, she wrote When a Grandchild Dies: What To Do, What To Say, How To Cope to fill an unfortunate gap in bereavement literature. In the process, she met numerous grandparents who grieved the death of a grandchild. For some, telling Nadine their story was the first time anyone had listened!
Nadine believes that we can find new strength and purpose despite, and perhaps because of, the challenges that life brings us. When we do so, our lives are filled with richness and joy!
Nadine is also the editor of Joy-Full Holistic Remedies: How To Experience Your Natural Ability to Heal by Georgie Holbrook. Her work in multigenre writing is featured in Teaching Multiwriting: Researching and Composing with Multiple Genres, Media, Disciplines, and Cultures by Robert L. Davis and Mark F. Shadle. In addition, Nadine has published several articles, essays, and other writings. She lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband Henry and his two children, Joe and Sarah.
